Okay so I called it Silent Sunday and the Sunday theme was supposed to be speechless maybe not silent?? There was no way this Sunday was silent that's for sure! SPeechless? YOU BET!!!
We rode into Anacortes about 8:30AM to get our usual parking spot in front of the Post Office. this year there were more Motorcycles already in town than the 3 previous years that we've been...
It was a picture perfect day too....
We wandered down to have breakfast at the cafe only to find a waiting line. Again an unusual thing! This was starting to look like there was going to be a busy day with a lot of motorocylces! event...
Back to the bikes to watch them all roll in...... and boy did they roll in....
It was hard to get pictures - there were so many bikes coming into town... I wasn't quite tall enough!
This was actually the calm before the storm. By 10:30AM, Main Street was tail light to tail light of bikes rolling in looking for a parking spot.
The variety of bikes, the styles, the variety of people -everything is a sound, taste, smell, see, hear sensory alert around each and every corner...
Specialty bikes like the "school teachers" GoldWings that we see there each year.....
How about this One??? "YEEHA!" is the license plate!
If it could be thought of it was probably there ! As well as a lot of beautiful bikes!

Valerie, It looks like your speechless but not silent Sunday was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing an interesting day.
I was speechless when I saw the 49ers lose in the last 2 seconds -- after the swearing. ;-)
Valerie, it looks as if you had a fantastic time. I was riding with my boyfriend yesteday out in the country of Ohio and we really enjoyed the sun on our backs!
Gary - It was a lot of fun. Love to people watch and bike watch as well as the ride!
Rick - I bet you were speechless..... Seattle lost as well :-( and I'm sure there was just as much swearing - I don't think SUnday's are going to be very silent throughout the football season!
Caren - We really had a great time - a perfect day of riding. I am glad you had the day too to get out and enjoy the ride, the weather, the scenery and the freedom! I bet its starting to really get chilly back there! Thanks for coming by!
Looks like a fantastic day. I have a feeling a friend of mine was at the same venue. Glad you had a great time with it.
Reba - it was a superrrrrrb day! There were tons of people there that was for sure! Thanks for stopping by!
Valerie - Can you HEAR me??? Or are your ears still ringing from all the vroom, vrrrooommm???
It sounds like the restaurants were busy so I'm sure it helped put money into the town's coffers.
Hi Valeria - There's a lot of pride and creativity in some of those bikes. We had a SuperRun event this weekend but I didn't get out to take pics. :(
Jenny - eheheheh - you're funny! they were sure ringing that day! Thanks for coming by!
John - This was the first time that I took my digital camera - I'm afraid I will drop it or lose it when we are riding so I don't usually take it. There sure was a lot of pride and the creativiry -ENDLESS! Thanks for coming by!
